Chiropractic changed my life
Hi, my name is Mbambu. In 1997 I started experiencing severe pain all over my body. Everything hurt. My bones, my muscles, my joints, my skin. Just the touch of my clothes was painful. In 2000 the pain had become so unbearable that I couldn’t walk. I had to resort to a wheel chair. I couldn’t sleep. It felt like I was sleeping on rocks. Just laying there was excruciating pain. All night I would be screaming because the pain was too much to bear. I thought I was going to die.
Over the years I had gone to medical doctors. They said it was arthritis and gave me pills that did nothing for my pain. I had gone to three different pain clinics in Seattle, Reno, and Sacramento , but still no relief. Some people didn’t think I was going to make it.
My husband had attended one of Dr. Norton’s classes and he brought home a pamphlet. It all made sense to me so I started care. After 5 months of treatment my pain started going away. After 9 months my body was functioning better. I can finally sit comfortably. I’m not as stiff. My strength and energy is coming back. I can lift my legs up. I couldn’t do that for five years! I’m more independent again. I can put on my own clothes, cut my own fingernails, hold my own food, and turn a faucet on and off. All small things people take for granted.
Everyone noticed a difference. They all say I look more alive and told me they didn’t think I was going to make it. Even though I’m still in a wheelchair they say there is an overall improvement.
The atmosphere at Norton Chiropractic is wonderful. The people make you feel welcome and relaxed. Since I have come here I have a better relationship with my husband and my children. I have a joy inside me and I want to wake up in the morning. Chiropractic has changed my life and given me hope. I even have the hope to walk again!
